Services Offered

Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE)
A Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) is a physical performance test ordered by a physician to examine an employee’s job specific capabilities before returning to work after an injury or illness. Through this evaluation, AIR will be able to assess the ability of the employee to return to his or her former position or make recommendations in the event that the employee is not physically capable to do so. The report generated by the FCE is a legally defensible document that allows for standardization across the scope of your company’s specific jobs.

Post-Offer Employment Screening
AIR Physical Therapy can both develop, and perform post-offer employment screens. The screens are designed according to the job description. If a post- offer employment screen does not exist, an on-site job analysis can be performed to help develop a customized screen for the job.

Onsite Functional Analysis
AIR will come to your worksite to perform an analysis of a job, and identify tasks that have risk for potential injury. Recommendations will be provided for injury prevention. AIR will also look at the accuracy of current job descriptions or write a customized physical demand analysis.

Work Hardening
A highly structured, goal-oriented, individualized intervention program designed for specific job requirements intended to return the employee to their specific job. Work Hardening addresses the issue of productivity, safety, physical tolerances, and work behaviors.

Work Conditioning
An intensive, goal-oriented conditioning program designed to restore neuromuscular and musculoskeletal function including strength, power, endurance, joint mobility, range of motion, motor control, cardiovascular endurance and functional abilities. AIR Physical Therapy has full access to AIR Fitness, a full service gym located in the same building.

Corporate Wellness
AIR Physical Therapy will work with your Human Resources Department to develop a Corporate Wellness program that fits your company’s individual needs. Fewer workers’ compensation injuries, and fewer employee call offs for sick time, translate to an improved bottom line.

AIR Corporate Wellness Program Includes:

  • Educational programs for employees
  • Flexibility assessment, body fat composition and lifting mechanics, analysis and screening, and biometric recordings for each employee
  • Employee membership at AIR Fitness that includes tracking employee participation
