AIR Physical Therapy’s New Castle office has a 20’ X 20’ heated pool with a stairway with a hand rail for easy entry into shallow water. Pool includes 3 foot, 4 foot and 6 foot depths to allow for walking, standing and floating exercises.
Aquatic therapy reduces the amount of gravity on a person, allowing less pain with movement and reduced pressure on joints and muscles. This is beneficial especially to those who have had hip, knee, ankle, shoulder, and back surgeries in warm 90+ degree water.
